  Red Damper Material

The red material was the first material we developed to be used as a rotor head dampener. This material was first used for the T-Rex 450 V1. After purchasing a T-Rex 450 for myself I quickly found that the dampers included in the kit wore out after only a few flights. At the time it seemed to me that there were no good solutions to this issue. I decided to develop something that would allow me to fly my new helicopter without changing the dampers all the time. The red damper line is the result of my design and testing.

The red products have the following benefits:

  • Longer usable life than stock materials
  • No need to increase the headspeed past average levels
  • Fills the entire damping area of the head block
  • Only one damper per side instead of 2 orings
